On Ima's 79th Birthday

Pretty getup Joy! I'm sorry you were unable to attend Ima's 79^th birthday; so many friends and kinsfolk visited. All kinds of food make her handa. We have kare-kare, lechon manoc, sisig, broiled fish with buro (fermented rice sauce), etc., and all kinds of dessert, including sweet mangoes. A broad tent was set-up over the front lawn for protection from the sun and possible rain. Her apos and extended apos ran and played all over the place. Of course the celebrant came prepared.

She started the day at 5 am in church for the Sunday Mass on Lent's 4^th week, and received our Lord at communion. What better way to celebrate one's day, to recharge one's batteries!
