A few minutes ago, a mouse was caught on sticky fly-paper, the second victim of mine. The more they struggle the more trouble they get into, like quicksand. Sometimes I imagine that people are like mice, going into trouble frequently, and adversely affecting others in the process. And perhaps a higher being puts some
trap to see what happens. The mouse first becomes curious about the trap, and when even just a small portion of its tail sticks to it, the entire body soon follows. Something to think about...
Leviticus 11.29-30 (RSV) mentions, "these are unclean to you among the swarming things that swarm upon the earth: the weasel, the mouse, the great lizard according to its kind, the gecko, the land crocodile, the lizard, the sand lizard, and the chameleon." Sorry but I can't say that no animal was hurt in making this picture.
Happy first birthday to Mog-Mog (Dennis and Tina's baby);
papansit naman!
