Regarding the so-called crisis in the Philippines... I heard one so-called pundit on TV this afternoon, about his reaction to the present State of National Emergency proclaimed by the president; I think It's about the so-called silencing of the press. He said in the vernacular, "Ang pikon ay laging talo" (I can't translate this, but it may mean that a sensitive person is always a loser). It seems that this is just a game for him and his cohorts. My opinion here is that "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." Will you wait for the shooting to happen before acting? It goes without saying that these people actually want this government to fall, that's why they're protesting the proclamation (1017). They can't wait to take over control of the country! Everybody wants to rule the world!
On other occasions, they broadcast in all media outlets everything malignant that they can say about this government. In my opinion, sometimes they become seditious. And then after a few moments, these same persons proclaim to the world that there is a crackdown on press freedom, that there is no freedom of expression. Who are they kidding? In the end, I honestly think that the majority of Filipinos are fed up with all of this politicking... all this propaganda ad nauseam... If this administration become what they insist it is, all of these people are either in jail or perhaps working in government (loyalty as a virtue is almost dead here). Let's go back to the elementary school and learn Loyalty all over again...
