Soldiery is a very noble calling, as it is service to the nation; it is termed armed service. Soldiers have to remain professional and not at all dirty their hands in politics. In the past, soldiers were mercenaries, hired by who knows who, to their own destruction... There are those who call themselves idealistic, but they forget the true discipline involved in their profession. Can a soldier complain first before following orders? But some people might say that several instances of coups or mutinies happened in the past; should we follow an error? If a soldier can't help but talk politics, he or she should resign immediately. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
