Google Earth is an excellent program given free by Google. These 3 maps are taken from this application. It is where I live. You may zoom out to see the entire planet (picture 1), you may zoom to see my country (an archipelago of about 7,107 islands), or zoom even further, etc... Some places are better rendered than others, but it's a start. I always see such maps on CNN!

Maybe there's a glitch in the Blogger system (I think they're fixing the problem, together with the regular updating process). But why does it not occur with me? I don't have an answer, but I'll look into it. We have monsoons here and also typhoons. Our problem is not drought (though this may happen in El Niño months) but too much rain. Thanks for your comments.
